From our fields

We grow our willow bundles in the heart of the Somerset Levels, where the rich soils and abundant water create ideal willow growing conditions. Generations of growers have worked these same fields, producing high quality weaving materials that are trusted across the UK. Today, we continue that tradition, supplying basket weaving materials and wicker supplies directly from the place they were grown.

Sustainable Willow

Willow is one of nature’s most renewable basket making materials. Harvested annually without replanting, our willow supports biodiversity, improves soil health, and captures carbon as it grows. Every willow bundle created is part of a sustainable, renewable, biodegradable cycle, beautifully in tune with the environment.

Went to buy some cane to make the seat on a small childs chair. It was fascinating seeing all the different types of willow and cane and Mr Roberts was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful

Outstanding set up, very well managed, great to see a resource actually being cultivated in the UK, long may it continue.
